My wife Peggy and I come to serve as your pastor from over forty years of ministry – attending seminary in Ft. Worth, serving on a church staff there, then pastoring Oklahoma churches in Garber and Fairland, as well as in Wheatland, Wyoming.  I later served on the staff of the Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention, and then as their Executive Director.  We moved to the Collinsville area in 2018 when I retired.

I will be serving with you as your pastor while we work through some transition over several months to come and into 2021.  I am already discovering that the people of this church are good people with a heart for the Lord, and for each other.  And we are looking forward to ministering alongside everyone in the church, as we glorify Christ in all that we do.

Robert and his wife Sheryl have been with us since December of 2002. Their love for children was evident as they helped start our Elevate Children's Ministry and have been training workers and discipling children ever since. Robert came on staff as our Associate Pastor and Minister to Families in June 2015 as he fulfills his calling to work in the lives of our children, youth, and families.  Robert draws inspiration for his ministry from Proverbs 22:6, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
